Finally, Superman's The Daily Planet is looking into the weirdness that is Gotham City (Who is that bat guy, btw?)
Jimmy Olsen is moving to Gotham City to expand the Daily Planet - which might not be the best news for Jimmy Olsen or Gotham City, considering the bat guy flying around as a result

It’s good to know that the Daily Planet’s recent expansion is giving it a chance to look into the real issues of the day — like… what’s the deal with that bat-guy in Gotham City, really?
DC has announced details for August’s Superman Unlimited #4, the latest announced issue of the new monthly Superman comic book series by Dan Slott and artist Rafael Albuquerque that launches May 21. In that first issue, it’s revealed that the Daily Planet will be expanding thanks to a new influx of cash from Imani Edge, former wife of the former owner of the newspaper. (Don’t worry, this isn’t a spoiler; it’s also covered in DC’s Free Comic Book Day 2025 release.) What that means in practice is that the Daily Planet is moving into other familiar cities, with some familiar faces leading the charge.
All of which is good news for Superman’s Pal, Jimmy Olsen… assuming nothing goes wrong in the process. But what are the odds of that happening?
Here’s how DC describes August’s Superman Unlimited issue: “It’s a big day for Jimmy Olsen as he sets up shop in the new Gotham City branch of the Daily Planet. His first assignment: learn what has turned Superman into an uncontrollable monster — and why. Do the combined forces of the heroes of Gotham even stand a chance against this version of the Man of Steel? And what is Bruce Wayne doing a continent away in Emerald City?”
Here’s the main cover for the issue, by Albuquerque — and you thought the bat-guy we were talking about at the start was Batman. For shame. Like we’d be so obvious.

Superman Unlimited #4 will be released August 20.
